MARLIN MAY—ACTOR, VOICEOVER, MODEL

“…Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.” –Calvin Coolidge

Marlin_Black_09:21:13BIOGRAPHY

Marlin started his acting career in a one-room schoolhouse in South Dakota (Yes, you read that correctly!), where, before the Christmas break, all the desks of the schoolhouse would be moved outside so that a makeshift stage and audience bench seating could be constructed of planks of wood and cinder blocks, with sheets as curtains, in order to perform a Christmas play!

Since that time he has been not only an athlete, a husband and father (and now a grandfather), a teacher, a audio/video producer, but also a critically acclaimed and award-winning performer on both the amateur and professional levels—as an on-camera, on-stage and web video talent, as a voice over artist and as a fine arts and photography model. He has performed in over 80 stage productions, dozens of on-camera productions, including commercials, feature length and short films and web videos. His voiceover credits are wide-ranging, from commercials to phone menus to the narration of 10 audio books thus far. He is also the episode announcer for the international video podcasts, The Rest of Everest and the announcer for SecureNinjaTV.
